How much does door-to-door pallet delivery cost in Nassau?
Door-to-door LCL delivery on our Fuso runs $60 per pallet within Nassau, minimum 1 and maximum 5 pallets per run. Extended Western/Eastern District deliveries are $75 per pallet. If you need unpacking, room placement, or a stair carry, white-glove inside delivery adds $50 per pallet.
Should I destuff at Gladstone Freight Terminal or at your warehouse?
Standard destuffing at Gladstone Freight Terminal is $750 per container, with APD fees passed through at cost. Having the container drayed to our Verizon Business Park warehouse instead is $650 per container, and it puts your cargo right where we stage door-to-door pallet delivery. Floor-loaded (non-palletized) cargo carries a $200 premium either way.
My delivery site has no loading dock or forklift — can you still deliver?
Yes — our International truck carries a piggyback forklift for exactly this. Retail or no-dock delivery is $525, standard delivery within Nassau is $500 for up to 10 pallets with forklift offload included, and construction-site delivery is $550 including 30 minutes of forklift standby. Because it's our own fleet, there's no subcontract markup on standard work.
What other charges should I expect on my invoice besides delivery?
Every container carries CLX local charges: a destination charge of $100 USD for US-origin cargo or $175 USD for non-US origin ($50/cbm for LCL, minimum $50), plus a $95 terminal security fee per container. Documentation release is mandatory on every shipment — $181.50 per BOL per container, VAT inclusive — and applies to both prepaid and collect shipments.
Do you deliver freight packages to the Family Islands?
Yes. Pallet delivery to the Family Islands is $250 per pallet plus ferry cost passed through at actual, and the International truck handles ferry-dock deliveries at $950 plus ferry, including ferry coordination and shipside offload. Full container delivery to the Family Islands is quoted case by case around mailboat schedules and offload availability.
