Supply Chain & 3PL

Designed around how your goods actually move

CLX builds tailored supply chains that connect suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors end to end. Drawing on a family lineage of vessel owners and maritime experts and over 50 years of accumulated experience, we design routes that fit the realities of moving cargo between the Caribbean and The Bahamas.

Our 3PL services reach both locally and internationally, optimizing the flow to enhance efficiency and reduce cost. Because we control forwarding, brokerage, warehousing, and trucking under one roof, the supply chain we design is one we can actually run.

FAQ

Supply Chain — common questions

What exactly do you take over when CLX manages our supply chain?

We design the route end to end — supplier pickup, consolidation, ocean freight, customs brokerage, warehousing, and final delivery — and then run it ourselves. Forwarding, brokerage, warehousing, and in-house trucking all sit under one roof at CLX, with consolidation points in Pompano Beach, Florida and Nassau, so the chain we design is one we can actually operate.

How is supply chain and 3PL work priced?

Routine legs run on our published tariff — US-origin brokerage from $75, in-house Nassau trucking from $250 per container, Nassau pallet storage from $30 per pallet per month. Volume contracts, master service agreements, and project-specific pricing are negotiated separately, and account clients with consistent volume may qualify for tiered discounts of 5–15% on standard rates.

Can you consolidate our US supplier orders before they ship to The Bahamas?

Yes. Our Pompano Beach, Florida warehouse receives your US purchases and builds them into pallets at $45 USD per pallet (shrink-wrap and label included) or LCL loads at $120 USD per cbm including the FCL build. Storage is free for the first 30 days, and we can coordinate US domestic pickup from your suppliers at cost plus 15%.

What visibility do we get once CLX is running the chain?

Transport moves are managed on Hammerhead TMS, which gives you real-time visibility for smarter decisions and cost-saving optimization. And because forwarding, brokerage, warehousing, and trucking are handled by one operator, status comes from one team instead of a string of handoffs.

Can the supply chain reach the Family Islands, not just Nassau?

Yes — CLX is a DHL Express Family Islands last-mile partner and delivers throughout the archipelago, priced by island band: Band A (Eleuthera, Abaco, Grand Bahama), Band B (Andros, Exuma, Long Island), Band C (Inagua, Crooked, Acklins, Mayaguana). Pallet deliveries to the Family Islands run $250 plus ferry cost passed through at cost.
