Warehousing — common questions
How much does pallet storage cost at your Nassau warehouse?
Standard 40x48 pallet positions are $30.00 per pallet per month, pro-rated by half-month. If you commit 50 or more pallets on a minimum 12-month term, the rate drops to $25.00 per pallet per month. Non-palletized or oversized items that don't fit a standard position are billed at $0.55 per cubic foot per month instead.
Can you destuff my container, and what does it cost?
Yes — we destuff either at Gladstone Freight Terminal for $750.00 per container (APD fees passed through) or dray the box to our Verizon Business Park warehouse and destuff there for $650.00. Floor-loaded boxed cargo carries a $200.00 premium, hazmat or reefer handling adds $150.00, and after-hours work outside 0700–1700 runs +50% on base. Our container receiving fee of $500.00 covers destuff, count, and putaway for up to 20 pallets.
Do you handle order fulfillment for my business or online store?
We run pick-and-pack for both channels out of Nassau: B2B orders are $5.00 per order plus $1.50 per line item, and B2C orders are $3.50 per order plus $1.00 per line item. Every inbound is counted, labeled, and put away on arrival, and picked orders come off the shelf ready for last-mile dispatch on the CLX fleet.
Can you receive and consolidate my cargo in the US before it ships to the Bahamas?
Yes — our Pompano Beach, Florida operation (via Nativo Logistics, 2800 Gateway Drive Unit 102) receives packages at $5.00 USD per parcel with the first 30 days of storage free. We consolidate onto pallets at $45.00 per pallet including shrink-wrap and label, and build LCL into FCL at $120.00 per cbm (minimum 1 cbm). Storage past 30 days is $20.00 per pallet per month, pro-rated weekly.
When do storage charges start, and how do I pay?
Storage charges accrue from the date your cargo arrives, with Nassau pallet storage pro-rated by half-month. Note that inventory sitting idle beyond 90 days picks up a $10.00 per pallet per month long-term charge. We take Charge Anywhere (credit card), Fygaro, or bank wire, and approved account clients can apply for Net 30 terms.
